Welcome Autumn

The winter is knocking, the leaves have fallen
The air is fragrant with night blooming cestrum’s pollen
A nip in the morning air heralds another winter
The sun sets early as the days  shorten n splinter
Festivals abound and the spirits are high
The market places festooned, poor men sigh!
Getting up in the morn will soon be a challenge nigh
Bar be cue’s and grills will be a foodie’s delight
The season we cherish after messy monsoon days
A huge relief after scorching  hot sunny  rays!
