In life every thing comes in twos
A boy or a girl else
husband n wife
Prince or a pauper as day versus night
Sunshine or
moonlight also love or fight
They always n every time come in twos
Choose between
darkness else a bright side
Remain gloomy n sad or dance in delight
Tardy or promptly, sloppy before organized
Fair else unfair a loss or a big prize
We have the choice of
one among two
Keep working hard or quit before you try
Have courage to
fight for the issue right
Else sit by the fence to grab opportunity right
We need to decide
what is right among two

Thank you, Akanksha. It is us who need to choose between which way we want to live our life:)
DeleteWell said! Alas, sometimes it is not a matter of choice what the destiny deals out to us. But, our approach can certainly be of handling the adversity with a positive attitude.
ReplyDeleteIn all major things our intents decide our destiny and only sometimes despite best intent things can go wrong. As you said Rachna, the approach can help us handle even those situations better:)
DeleteRahul..." Opciones en la vida "

DeleteThank you so much Rahul for presenting us with these inspiring set of words. I really needed to hear this today. You are so right, we all do have choices...whether to be happy or sad, work for something we believe in or just to quit. We are the masters of our won destinies, and in order to make a success of our lives, we have to make the right choices. Well written.

ReplyDeleteAnd Lovely Poem Rahul :)
Welcome to my blog, Kiara! A huge thanks for your kind words of appreciation:) Hope to see you here again!
DeleteSo simple and yet so utterly profound!!! If more of us would realize it is simply that- a choice- WE make- we are not forced to do one or the other- we choose. When a sad situation arises- we choose to remain sad- or leave the sadness behind- when a happy situation comes- we choose to be happy or look back at the sadness=-
ReplyDeleteGreat poem!!!

DeleteWell said, Rahul. But for the darkness, who would know the meaning of light? So even if the object is one, it implies the presence of the other not far behind.
