Choices in Life

In life every thing comes in twos
A boy or a girl else husband n wife
Prince or a pauper as day versus night
Sunshine or moonlight also love or fight
They always n every time come in twos
Choose between darkness else a bright side
Remain gloomy n sad or dance in delight
Tardy or promptly, sloppy before organized
Fair else unfair a loss or a big prize
We have the choice of one among two
Keep working hard or quit before you try
Have courage to fight for the issue right
Else sit by the fence to grab opportunity right
We need to decide what is right among two

  19. Thank you so much Rahul for presenting us with these inspiring set of words. I really needed to hear this today. You are so right, we all do have choices...whether to be happy or sad, work for something we believe in or just to quit. We are the masters of our won destinies, and in order to make a success of our lives, we have to make the right choices. Well written.

  33. So simple and yet so utterly profound!!! If more of us would realize it is simply that- a choice- WE make- we are not forced to do one or the other- we choose. When a sad situation arises- we choose to remain sad- or leave the sadness behind- when a happy situation comes- we choose to be happy or look back at the sadness=-

    Great poem!!!
