Walk Do'nt Run

Look at the sunrise feel the cold air
The radiance of the sky n distant eagle’s stare
When did you last hold her soft warm hand?
Look into her eyes watch love float as magic wand
We chase goals aimless pursuits of wealth n fame
Forgetting enjoy life’s journey to reach destination main
Slow down the life’s pace, toss away baggage of worry
Enjoy fruits of labor and dream in warm bed furry
Why be always in a great hurry? Why not stop for fun?
Look around for happiness, Walk, do not run

  6. Before a life changing event, I was always on a run. After that I realized, I can't be in a constant chase. I have to sit and enjoy. May be that was a signal from God. I feel this poem is written exclusively for me. Thank you for this one Sir.

Good to know so many things about you. And thanks for liking my blog, it is an honor and can't express it in words how happy I am after reading my name there.
