A Lazy Sunday

A lazy Sunday is much awaited

Snuggle in bed n stay satiated

Dreamy eyes, whiff of cool breeze

The chirp of birds, body rhythm unfreeze

The aroma of cardamom n ginger tea

Refreshes body like ripples on sea

No run, no workout just a quiet walk

Enjoy a hot breakfast n endless talk

Pick up a nice book take a fantasy trip

Once more drool till eyes slowly blip

We toil a whole week with this wish

To greet the Sunday that vanishes swift!
